yeah, it has a big crossfire problem. With a core i7 3770k and a single hd 7970 with everything maxed out at 5760x1080 I get roughly 22-34 fps however, with the second card going it drops it to 11-17 fps with crazy micro stutter.

Though, I haven't had problems with eyefinity which I am very happy about :)

Well wouldn't you know it,Crossfire was the problem. Disabled it and the game runs fine now. Kinda annoying though. Hopefully they'll fix it with a patch soon.

Hmmm... do you really think that's a crossfire-issue? Because... I don't have a CF-Setting (but Eyefinity and AC3 does not run in EF)

Multi-monitor support is currently not as good as in AC 2, brotherhood or revelations

On my set-up, there are issues whith the aiming fov. I was even blocked during the first mission where guns are used. At some point, you need to aim and shoot something to create an explosion. I was blocked because of the fov problem. I had to change to 1920*1080 to move forward.

In addition, performance with nvidia sli is not really good. I have a gtx 690 and need to lower most of the options to get AC 3 run smootly.
I will wait driver updates and a game patch to play the game.

Yup, multi-monitor is still not great. While actually playing it works fine, but in-game cutscenes (not videos, actual real-time rendered cutscenes) are STILL anamorphic, which is kinda annoying since the game has a LOT of those cutscenes. Also, the Very High AA setting gives me lots of artifacts and weird effects (Apparently this setting uses MLAA & 4xMSAA).

Haven't gotten as far as the gun part yet so can't comment on that, but needless to say, it's already been a right headache. In the future I shall wait at least a month before getting new released games for my Eyefinity + CF system.

Do you think that in future it will be possible to have this game in full screen on 5:4 monitors, or it will be impossible as the previous chapters? Otherwise I do not take the game.

I can not find anywhere to change resolution (NV). The graphics menu lack the "Resolution" option that is shown in screenshots. Also seems to be random if game starts in 1080p or scales down.

You can find an Assassins Creed 3 folder in your Mr Docs folder, which contains an .ini file. Open it with text editor and you can manually set the resolution.

Single 7970 with the 12.8 drivers, and everything has worked fine for me. Aiming appears to be working properly but I have yet to get to the mission mentioned above.

I'm using the 12.11 beta driver, and it is 16:9 anamorphic in Eyefinity. No extra display attached, and no CFX. May be a driver issue. Works fine in NV Surround. I did try with the 21:9, and it is 16:9 anamorphic on both cards.
