Well, a nice user on their forums has made an FOV fix with cheat-engine.
Works nice.
Normal FOV.
Improved FOV

Well, I've started up a thread asking them for some Eyefinity/Surround loving in the form of fixing the HUD stretch, which is the only real issue with surround at the moment. They say if it's deemed that enough users need this it could be fixed, but they're waiting to see. So maybe if you all pop in and pester them too :) http://www.redfaction.com/forums/topic/14471 |

Fresh info: The last Red Faction Armageddon patch, released some days ago alongside its DLC Path to War, screwed up the FoV fix avalaible in this thread: http://www.redfaction.com/forums/topic/14265 I have sent private messages to the author, with no reply, I suspect he left the scene and won't reach him. I hope WSGF can come with a fix for this, I would hate to play the game with the original narrow FoV. |

Yeah, you bet, I'll post up some screenies when I get home later. I would have last night, but I ran into a bug an hour in at a new area that cut my FPS to the low teens and made the game unplayable... Perhaps it's a 3way SLI issue, im sure they don't test console ports with tri-sli. |
