Been trying but it still kicks me every time. :/

The way the calculation is done in released versions is that it redirects the writing of the aspect ratio to another area of code. In this area, I actually modify the game's code to correct the aspect ratio, and then I let it write the value out.

The way I just tried to do it is within Widescreen Fixer itself. I don't have it redirect the writing of the aspect ratio, but instead I have it write the aspect ratio out to an empty area of memory. Then in Widescreen Fixer, I read in that value and perform all calculations internally, and then I write the value out to where it was supposed to go. So the only modification of the game code is one line where I change where the aspect ratio gets written... and PB still kicks me for corrupted memory.

It really seems like there's no hope for it.

I just released v1.46.1. The list of changes are below:

[list]
[*]I have not had EB test this version. Use at your own risk.[/*:m]
[*]Added support for Call of Duty: World at War v1.1 (Multi-Player)[/*:m]
[*]Added a new method for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that might let it work online. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE AND YOU TEST THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.[/*:m]
[*]Added support for 17:10 (1024x600)[/*:m]
[*]Due to adding support for 17:10, I discovered a bug using 3 x 16:9 with BioShock.[/*:m][/list:u]

Donations are highly appreciated. :)

Note:
Even though it says 17:10, the actual aspect ratio used is 128:75.

I just got back from a rebuild and noticed, is there no CoD:WaW SP 1.1 support?
However I am enjoying going back to CoD4 @5040 MP :)

Nope. Something changed in v1.1 SP that I haven't figured out just yet.

You can still play single player using the v1.0 exe. The changes made to the game in that patch mostly only affected MP. So just make a backup of your SP exe and replace it with a v1.0 exe and use that.
