Awesome review mate. I was wondering if it's possible to run games that dont support widescreen at all in the centre monitor and have the other 2 side monitors still active?

I'm really considering gettin a TH2g setup myself. I'm currently running a dual display setup. Dont run my games in widescreen over the 2 yet due to my crap video card but I like having the game running on the middle monitor with the 2nd monitor still on. I dump msn convo's and monitoring progs on it and sometimes a webpage for reference while gaming.

In the review you said that if the game doesn't support widescreen the 2 side monitors go into stand by. Is there a way to circumvent that so the game can be run in fullscreen on the centre and keep both the other 2 monitors at the desktop.

Mabye the game would need to be run in fullscreen windowed mode on the centre monitor like WoW supports.

Also, did you have any issues when it came to playing 16:9 aspect video or 4:3, can you maximize the video to play on the centre monitor only without stretchin over the 3? Is there an option for that aswell if you wanted to toggle between fullscreen on 1 monitor or 3 monitor fill mode?

The best way to do this is to use dual-input monitors. I have 2 P1110s (21" CRTs) with a third about to be unpacked, and the #1 input on each monitor is connected to the TripleHead 2Go. The #2 input on the left and right monitors is connected to the video out of my secondary port on my 6800GT and the port on my 6200LE.

If you read my review you will see that I don't think much of Matrox's desktop management software for the TripleHead2Go; as someone used to UltraMon on dual monitors, it is frustrating to use. So, I run my TripleHead2Go at 1280x960 (single-screen) in 2D, and when I stop gaming I flick my left and right P1110s over to their secondary inputs to display the Windows desktop. When I start gaming I flick them back to input #1. In non-triplehead games, or games that do not get along extremely well with the Windows desktop (i.e. everything but MSFS) this allows for fullscreen games to display without making the left and right monitors temporarily useless.

I believe almost all LCDs, even widescreen, have dual inputs, so this should work for lots of people. What it requires is a second video card.
