Hey everyone.

I found a way to make the FOV stick to one value in avp2, so you dont have to type mpfov all the time. and the way to do it is a .rez modification.

1. Get Winrez LT studio

2. Use it to open AVP2L.rez

3. Extract the file AttributesCharacterButes.TXT to some place on your harddrive, like your desktop.

4. Open the extracted CharacterButes.TXT and find a line that looks like

FOV = (90, 78)

and change it to the FOV of your choice. (use FOV Calc to find the value of your liking). For triplehead2go it should be:

FOV = (143, 78)

...and save and close.

5. Make a new empty .REZ file in WinRez LT, create a new folder named "Attributes", and put your modified CharacterButes.TXT in that folder, and save the rez-file as fov.rez in your Aliens vs Predator game directory.

6. Edit your avp2 shortcut by adding the commandline arguments:
"...Aliens vs. Predator 2avp2.exe" -rez fov.rez

and you're all done.

Merry christmas, and a happy new year! ;)
