Choose your desired TripleHead resolution in the game ... leave the Aspect Ratio on Normal ...
Any other Aspect Ratio gives the wrong Aspect Ratio for TripleHead ... so distorted visuals.

Unfortunately the HUD is set for a widescreen and so it has the bezels of the screens cutting through some elements of the HUD ...
Look at where the sides of the 4:3 screenshot line up with the various HUD elements of the first TH shot to see where ...
I have tried to find a way around this as there are various .xml files that can be edited but so far no luck ... I will keep trying.

All the menus are fine ... actually their animation effects work very well in TripleHead.

You will need a VERY good system to run this game at 3840x1024 with the Ultra settings ... these shots are with the settings on high +2x AA and the game ran pretty smooth all be the fps varied between 18 and 27 and using just one 8800. I'll try Sli later ...

EDIT ... Sli made little difference ... :?

I used the Xbox 360 controller to drive ... it worked very well ... it even had rumble.

Ahh, was gonna ask you to post some stuff Paddy.

On everything highest, i get <1fps. It would be more rewarding to click through some screenshots on the net.

Anyway (after turning all the settings down to Low or Off), this game disappointed me. Was the steering for you amazingly light, and the car just seemed to stick to the road? And the speed seemed to look too fast.

It all felt very wrong.

Edit: I love the menu music :D

Seems you need a really top end system to run this game at max ... or a very low res.
As I said it struggled at high settings 3840x1024 ... let alone Ultra.

I haven't had a chance to test it on a widescreen or with my 7900's.

The steering does seem a little light but I have always felt that about Colin McRae games ... and I thought this was better than previous games in this regard :?

Speed seems fine to me ... and yeah the music is good.

Overall I didn't think it was so bad ... even with the low frame rates ....

I might get the game but I have a feeling it comes with StarForce ... :(
Whilst the demo didn't install any hidden drivers that I can find ...
I see this in the games folder ...

Guess I'm going to play it on the 360 if its a system hog, I only have a 7900. Also I hate starforce oh so very much!

I might get it for my 360 if it is going to have Starforce ... although gaming in TripleHead is even better ... more immersive ... that gaming on my big plasma.

How can you tell how heavy the steering is when you use an XBox controller? :?:

Why do so many new games have to overdo the HDR lighting effects? The real world does not glow and radiate yellow shades on every light-colored surface.

Touch the steering stick and the car turns too quickly compared to other games ...

Yeah the glow/softening effect is way too over done ... as is in many games these days.
I guess they are trying to create atmosphere ...

I wish I had a TH2go setup, ah well.... :P

I agree that HDR, while being awesome and adding realism.. they over do it a fare bit.
