I managed to make GTR2 run on the 3 monitors with SoftTH!!!!

Take a look at my kid playing at full 4960x1600 resolution.

BTW, I still have to tweak the config files to align the side panels, but we are having too much fun playing to mess around for now. :-)

hey speedy-- its slideways666 from over at hardforums....

your setup looks nice-- i have a th2g here but the idea of running with your resoltion and softh looks like it might be a nice way to go ..

I like the idea of the one big middle monitor and the 2 20'ers turned up--

Maybe the way to go woudl be get a new bonetrail board.. with 3 pci-e2 slots.. get 2 quad cpu's and 3 new nv cars-- dont run them in sli--- so each screen gets their own gpu... then run 3x24 or 3x30 screen-- hehe-- yummmy

btw-- tell your kid-- nice counter stearing :)-- that a boy-- time to get that kid a race kart....

OMG that is the bomb!

I wish TH2G would support that sort of monitor setup.

That looks crazy in such a good way.

How are the frames and performance in soft-2go? I mean compared to TH2G how is it?

Question for you, SpeedyVV. Obviously the 4096-pixel limit present in DX9 hardware has been broken here with your 8800. What I would like to know whst elements of DX10 do you need to run a resolution greater than 4096? Is it purely the GPU? Or do you actually need DX10 (which of course means you need Vista)?

Really amazing pictures you've got there.

Its is SoftTH, that is the explanation for the resolution!

:? Yes, I know it's SoftTH. The TripleHead2Go doesn't support a number of things we're seeing here:
1. Portrait orientation of screens.
2. Non-equal screen resolutions on 3 monitors.
3. 4960x1600 resolution.
4. Resolution that exceeds the 4096-pixel limit.

My question is not "how did you get that resolution?" My question is "Do you need DX10 (and Vista) to get that resolution, or do you only need an 8800 GPU?"

Your question is intending to ask about the two tall side screens, right? :?:
