Oh no guys ... the highest setting I can get for the FOV is 100 ... we need about 140 for TripleHead ... :(
The game does the TH resolutions but to change the FOV you need to bring down the console by pressing the Tab key.

type ... fov 100

Anything over this doesn't work ... :(

The kick ass thing about Epic, is that they listen to the fan base.
I e-mailed Steve Pogel back in UT2003, they released a patch that borked one of my mutators, i asked them to return a certain functionality to the code and he said sure next patch it will be fixed, and it was :D
So, it's likely that if enough people ask about this they could answer our cries. :P

P.S. I got off work three hours ago, and didn't find out till the Demo till just now, :x I started the download and emmediatly came here to see if you had posted tripple head pics yet! :P

Epic have locked or deleted several threads (without explanation) about this that have been posted on their forums since the Bioshock fiasco.
I would hardly call that listening.

Well, at least this thread in the Epic Demo feedback forum is still alive. Maybe there's some hope.

This is the difference between fov 100 and 90. He is right, if you set it for 90, then switch to 100 it changes, anything above 100 does nothing. There is a config file DefaultGame.ini that has fov settings but is disabled and I have tried a bit to enable it. I think in the final retail version they will add it but until then we have to wait for a hack.
FOV 100

FOV 90

Again the case of the developers being lazy.. if they dont want user-configurable FOVs then they should calculate the FOV based on the resolution people are using. Clearly nobody sane would be using a TH2GO resolution on their monitors unless they had 3 monitors, and thus there wouldn't be any problems with people with 4:3 monitors giving themselves 140 FOVs.

I'd like to ask Racer_S a question but I can't do that directly. Paddy, could you forward this idea if you find it appropriate? :D

Is there a way to alter the BioShock FOV hack to make it work with the UT3 demo? I'm hoping that it's easy to do, because the engine is the same and the problem we are having is the same as well.
Maybe there are only a few bits and pieces in the code to change :?:
I can't really see into that, this is only a wild idea.

If this would take a lot of work to do, please ignore my question
