hey what's up guys, i'm having a little trouble with my triple head 2 go. every time i shut down my computer, when i go to turn it on the 3 monitors don't come on and the light is red on the triple head 2 go box. i have to fiddle with the cable and then it turns back on, its getting really annoying doing this everytime i turn my computer on. is there a setting somewhere that i have to check so they turn right on everytime. thanks in advance, hope someone can help me out, i'm getting a little tired of this

It sounds like a bad connection in that cable you have to fiddle and so would suggest a new cable is needed ... but is it digital or analog version ?
Someone has had issues with the digital and the USB port not giving power ... but then again you say your light is on so it power and so suggest a new cable is needed or the cable isn't properly in the socket.

hey paddy, i have the digital edition, i just got an email from matrox saying that the usb port doesn't give enough power upon boot up. although i thought that the light was on so i didn't know if that was the case. you said other people with the digital edition, do you know if they ever had a fix. i have it plugged into the usb thats on the board, i would think that would give it enough power, could be wrong, what do you think?

I would look into getting a USB wall plug. Or a powered USB hub.

Hi njracer,

I have exactly the same problem with my TH2GOD, I noticed that even though the light is on there is a very slight flicker to it until you unplug the USB and then back in. I have just ordered a main’s powered USB adapter so will let you know if this sorts the issue out. I think it will work as the USB cable only draws power and has nothing to do with configuration or setup of the unit.

Why do so many people make this claim? It's incorrect.

The Digital TripleHead2Go is in fact powered by USB, but the USB connection is also used for device detection and control in Windows. Which 4 of the 36 modes are available is controlled by that USB connection, as is the bezel management feature.
