Last year I purchased a 37" BenQ 1080p TV/Monitor as my new monitor replacement due to a super deal and thus by passing triple head gaming.

Seems I'm going to give up the monitor to the bedroom so I need a replacement.

I was look at the 2K and 4K digital cinema spec and while impressive, are not available at a cheap enough level to warrent purchase. The 4K (Quad HD) panel res seems to be closely matched to triple 24" 1920x1200 monitors in tall mode in terms of pixels.

So has anyone tried triple 24" 1920x1200 monitors in tall mode with SoftTH? This is a lot cheaper than 2560x1600 panel + 2 1600x1200 panels in tall mode.

If anyone has done this, please advise your setup as I'm looking to upgrade the core system as well (MB,RAM/CPU/GPU) to power this all up.
