Post subject:  Counter-Strike Source: warped monitor resolution?!

hiho,

i am playing css with three 19" tfts (benq fp93gx) / triple head2go digital and a resolution of 3840*1024 (bezel-manegment of course).

the middle tft (where the hud is..) has the normal resolution (1280*1024), the left and the right one seem to use a warped resolution (width drawn).

i thought every tft use the resolution of 1280*1024.

i found a lot of screenshots where it looks the same.

e.g. http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/8574

is there a possibility to adjust the left and right monitor like the main (middle) one?

it is not really helpfull, if u see an enemy on the left screen, aim for him but when u turn around to see him on the middle screen the resolution changes and the foregoing position of the enemy changes too.

thx for your help.

greetings
Hade

Hello and welcome, you might find this thread and this video interesting ;)

This is not a "resolution" problem, your three monitors use the same res. It's just that objects on the side panels may look a tad bigger/closer than they really are. All games are affected in the same way.
So the wider your screen gets the more obvious this distortion appears ... and it is just the way game cameras are ... it isn't an added feature of the TH2G ... it is already there.
Peripheral vision is for immersion, not precision ;) so you shouldn't turn your head and look at your side panels. Hopefully you'll get used to it and focus on your center screen, and turn your camera angle if you catch the glimpse of an enemy on the left/right screen...
