I have been using softTH for Vanguard SOH for about 3 weeks now. It runs well without too many problems. I am using a 4870 and a 3870. I do get some warping of the images on the side screens, I haven't done enough reading to learn if that is normal or if there are some changes that I can make. It is kind of useful in that I can magnify distant object by looking at the on the distant edge of the sidescreens; However I would get rid of the effect if I could. Currently running 20fps on balanced, think I can do better with a day of tweaking, Vg is demanding in comparison to most other mmo's however.

I also tried everquest 2 repeatedly. The game won't even start in TH. It would be nice to resurrect my EQ2 char in surround but for now I am totally immersed in Vanguard.

The slight warping is normal, and occurs even at 4:3. It is just exaggerated at wider FOVs. Check out the Edge Distortion video here:
