forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere, but a quick search didn't find anyone with the same problem.

When i set the resolution in-game to 5600x1200 all i get is a wildly flickering screen that's still @ 1900x1200, has anyone else experienced this or know of a solution for it? Thanks in advance for you help.

Graphics details = 5970 w/ 9.12hotfix (could that be the issue?) - 3x Dell 2407WFP.

If your drivers are that old then of course the first thing to try is updating them.

"Old" being two months old? lol. I will be trying to update the drivers to see if that solves the issue, but i was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this. Thanks.

Well, with cutting edge tech like Eyefinity and a brand new game, yes... 2 months old is old.

More to the point you missed a major revision going from 9 to 10.

Also ... check your resolution and refresh rate in the settings.ini ... it could be something got screwed up.
You can find it in the BFBC2 folder in your Documents folder.

Is your desktop resolution set to the eyefinity resolution?

I was in landscape mode and first time I booted the game i saw the 5760x1200 and 6004x1200 resolutions even though I was in 1920x1200.

When I rebooted the game I wanted to see what would happen if I picked an eyefinity resolution while not in eyefinity mode... but they were gone.

Exited the game, turned on my eyefinity profile and made my desktop 6004x1200 and sure enough the resolution was there when I started the game again.
