I tried the Disciples 3 Demo a few days ago. Ran fine in 5248x1050 with Hor+ to what I've seen yet. There are some minor flaws, however: Main menu is Hor+ but some graphics end just after 1 screen. Loading screens are stretched or repeat themselves. Rendering scenes (Intro) are Vert+.

In case you don't know anything about the Disciples series: It is basically a "Heroes of Might&Magic" Clone, thus a RPG-RTS mixture with round-based open world map and round-based fights. The game's website can be found here: http://www.disciples3.ru/ (Make sure you click on the red "EN" on the right side for English website language).
The demo can be downloaded here: http://www.bigdownload.com/games/disciples-iii-renaissance/pc/disciples-3-renaissance-demo

Definitely going to buy this game, when I got through some other titles I have still laying around here :rockout

Thanks, I didn't know there was a demo (3.7 GB ?! ). I preordered the game ages ago, even though I'm kinda concerned about the full-3D graphics and HoMM-like combat; I want a real Disciples with the neat graphics and unique combat/upgrade mechanics, not another Etherlords/HoMM5. Ah well, Hor+ is a good surprise.
Hopefully the gameplay UI is okay, but that main menu does not bode well...

Grrrr. The HOMM cloneness was actually a design decision made for III. Why, I have no idea.

It got crushed by our Russian friends on release. Something about the game being half done or somesuch. Hopefully it has been patched to respectability.

Game received and, well, first impression is not very good.

Gameplay:
It's sth like HoMM5 (or 4, actually) with refined, "adult" graphics (but pretty bland animation and sound) and combat that makes no sense - fixed unit positionment was the HEART AND SOUL of Disciples, so what you get without it is a waste of time. 3D really adds nothing to the game, as does Hor+ multi-mon, although the UI is indeed okay.

Technically:
I've only played like one hour and already got one hard CTD, but looping bits of music is the most common issue so far (main menu says: v1.06).

I will explore each faction's possibilities and graphical assets for a while, then probably just stop playing. Sometimes you get mad at games with ruined potential, sometimes you're just vaguely disappointed; it's the latter that I feel here.

I think a better comparison is that... it's like Disciples 2. I guess HoMM is the standard that everyone compares things to, but I mean Disciples 3 is in every way a redesigned Disciples 2. So I guess the design decision to keep Disciples 2 mechanics wasn't really "Let's make it like HoMM".

I have the game from steam and played for about 50 hours. Triple wide works out of the box... but I found that a lot of CTD's I was getting was probably due to triple wide. For example, there was a particular dungeon type that I kept crashing in and after turning off eyefinity it didn't crash again from that dungeon. Triple wide also isn't a big deal in this game due to the ridiculous fog of war that blankets just about everything (unlike disciples 2 where if you've explored an area the fog is lifted permanently).

The actual battlefield can fit on your center screen and the sides are kind of ugly sometimes since they didn't expect people to be able to see that far out.

My initial impression was pretty good since I really liked the RPG aspect of the campaign. But after 50 hours... I felt like I was finishing it just to finish it. The game's pacing is really ruined by the RPG aspect since your hero becomes absolutely ridiculously overpowered in the later missions of each campaign. Each map is OK, but it loses some of the feel of disciples 2. I'm not sure how to describe it. Overall disciples 2's levels were just designed better.
