Like crimson skies, ace combat, etc?

Seems like all these easy-to-play vehicular combat games are console exclusives.

The Carmageddon games. Old, but still fun.

The original is still in my Top 10.

The Jetfighter series...

You can always use console emulators to run those console games. The PS2 sure has a lot of 'em.

I've had a great time playing through HAWX, especially in 4-player co-op over Hamachi. Unfortunately the demo they put out before release really shot the game in the foot with a piss-poor presentation of the game's unique camera features. That and the menu system is a counter-intuitive, overcomplicated mess. The combat is very satisfying IMO, though, and there is a surprising amount of detail and polish for a game no one would dare call a "realistic sim".
