Been trying to run this game on a 3x24" portrait mode, but always get msg: 'can't find a full screen working resolution' - game won't start..
Any idea?

L4D2 doesn't start anymore since I update 10.3 -> 10.7... sigh

Help greatly appreciated.

Search the forums. I remember running into this issue with CoH and finding a fix around it somehow. I don't know where that thread went though.

Hmm, either my Search skills are not very good, or the post have been removed.. Google didn't give much info neither..

Anybody can help me a bit?

I think i made a slightly more detailed post in the official softTH forums. But ya, had to do something with that.

Well, not sure i can explain HOW the game finally launched; i uninstalled, reinstalled, then installed all patches, then launched and it works..

However, in 3x1 landscape is horrible; either it's possible to adjust FOV, or I wish ATI was making portrait mode working properly, beside desktop mode..

Did you look at my threads? I got 3x1 Portrait to work, and it is monumentally better since the icons arn't distended.

As for FoV, there is a "mod" you can do, but that would be playing dirty. 8)
