Post subject:  Assassin's Creed III no proper multi-mon support

Hi guys,

Just started up the game on my 3x1L Eyefinity setup only to realise that the game is anamorphic for 16:9 AR. Any other AR is letterboxed or (in my case) pillarboxed. I read an article that Ubisoft was implementing proper multi monitor support at launch; seems like they didn't deliver. :(

Am a bit disappointed to say the least. Anyone else tried it yet? Any idea of a possible fix or anything?

Cheers

Weird. All previous AC games have had proper multi monitor support.

Yup. Even more weird since, according to this article:

AC3 would have multi monitor support at launch. I find it hard to play games on only one monitor now. Seems like my vision is totally squished lol

I think I'm gonna wait till proper support (official or unofficial) is released.

Do you know if this game is in anamorphic widescreen?

I use Eyefinity with 3 16:10 monitors. I thought the game was anamorphic 16:9 since I was able to see a bit of the sides of the playing screen on the side screens. I'm guessing you're using Nvidia surround possibly?

Yes, You are correct. I use 3x 16:9 monitors and yes, NV Surround. Works like charm so it might be Eyefinity issue which really is a shame if it is so :(

Hmm... I don't see why it would be an issue though. The game does run at the right resolution, and as I said, a bit of the playing screen can be seen on both side monitors.

Perhaps I forgot to let the game update or something. Will try again once I get home. Although I have seen other people complain that it doesn't work. Not sure whether they were using Eyefinity though. Could be a possibility of course.

I am having trouble to with this game and Eyefinity,
Lets hope it will be fixed easily, can't be to hard if it works on nvidia I think.

EDIT:
I screamed to early, on second game start it worked properly, nothing changed in the meantime... :rockout:

Apparently people have been reporting that the game has problems with Crossfire. Will also have to try that. haven't gotten around to it yet. Good to see that it works for some people at least, gives me hope :)
