Hi,

i am planning in changing the monitors of my Nvidia Triple monitor solution but the requirement of Sync Polarity is difficult to see, until now only Samsung monitors manuals refer this spec i searched LG and Dell with no avail, is there another way to see the Sync Polarity of a monitor?
I see that comparing the LG´s manuals vs Samsung the vertical and horizontal refresh rates are the same given the same resolution so maybe this is general this not a biggie because otherwise how one would know such a thing when wants a setup with different monitors!

For 3D you need 3 identical monitors, nothing less.

For non-3D, you can just go with any 3 monitors of the same resolution, I believe, and 2 graphics cards of course!

Sorry but i already know that.

My grip is with the Sync Polarity requirement witch is difficult to see in non - Samsungs manuals, if for example the middle screen have this characteristics

VESA, 1920 x 1200 hor freq 74,038 vertical frequency 59,950 Sync polarity
(H/V)+/- my side monitors must have also Sync polarity (H/V)+/- at the same result ion.

Refresh rate i think is no biggie since most monitors support various different refreshes for the same resolution

nVidia's Surround site says that sync polarity being the same is a requirement for Surround. Otherwise it won't work. Am I understanding the question?

I edited the original post:

1920 x 1080, refresh of 60 and sync polarity of +/- (Horizontal/Vertical respectably) my side monitors must have also Sync polarity of +/- (H/V) at the same resolution and refresh rate.

I know the others requirements: same native resolution, same refresh rate but my grip is with the Sync stuff

I dunno, then. :( If manufacturers won't tell you on spec sheets, I suppose it's a 'try it and see' thing. :( I guess I lucked out with my setup which uses different monitors as I had no problems.

I had this issue myself and ended up coming up with my own WORKING fix for this despite Acer being complete wankers. They claimed they couldn't change the monitor driver to one which would be uniform. So i made my own
