UPDate: i TRIED THE MATROX Powerdesk and it seems to do most of what I need, just set 3 columns (1.1 1.2 1.3), then set maximise windows to "in same cell as current window", very happy :)
hope this helps someone else out frustrated by the 5760x1080 mode (who new matrox and nvidia would playnice).
(windows 7) Im after a desktop layout manager where I can create regions on my 5760x1080 desktop where windows snap to, everything maximising to trip screen is annoying.
Have been going throught the hassle of control panel switches to get surround view in games and multimon for general desktop use.
I recal a gridview (or something like that) app bundled with ACER laptops a few years back that was similar to nvidia nView desktop managment software, but for a single mon. it would be perfect for the trip screen layout, sady I can't dig it up from googling.
does ultramon have any use when the surroung visopn mode is enabled ?
Cheers in advance.
