First time on the board and I need a little help. Just bought a new PC with these specs:
I7 930 2.8g
ATI HD 5870
6g Corsair Dominator RAM

I have a pretty nice samsung 22" monitor at the moment but want to go a little bigger to 24" or 25". I am some what partial to Samsung since the monitor I has treated me right, but I am not against looking at others that may be better than the few I have eyes on right now. Please help me figure out if one of the Samsung's I have narrowed down is a good choice or let me know if there are othe monitors I should be checking out. I'm really leaning toward the P2570 HD since it has a bigger screen and has the TV tuner option as a bonus(although I probably would rarely use it to watch tv), but I'm worried about the screen being too big to where the pixels stand out and I'm also worried about the 4ms response as most of the others only are 2ms.

I use the PC mainly for gaming, whether I have it connected to my PC, XBox or PS3. I play World of Warcraft mainly, but I plan on playing some FPS games like Crysis 2. Please help me out! Thanks in advance.

Monitors i'm considering:
Samsung XL2370-1

"I'm worried about the screen being too big to where the pixels stand out and I'm also worried about the 4ms response as most of the others only are 2ms." - Dont worry about these two things.

Firstly, a 52" TV even works well with 1920 x 1080 resolution with good clarity. So how much more for a 24.6" monitor with the same resolution, it should look even better.

Second, 4 ms is very sufficient as response time.

The P2570 is such a fully featured monitor (if you really need all of them) and you can't go wrong with getting that. Just don't expect that much of a difference in size though since you're comming from a 22" monitor. I can suggest to you another monitor which is even bigger and cheaper. Well it doesn't have all the features of the samsung one but is very cheap for the size. Read through the ratings and reviews of this monitor on the link.

I was under the impression that the bigger the monitor is the bigger the pixels are which could make the user see all the dots, but i guess i was wrong. I appreciate the comment and I see that I may have a few more options available to me now.
