Which active mini/displayport to dvi adaptor to get in the UK and where from?

I had grabed the Dell one from scan.co.uk which is a bizlink adaptor with a sticker that says F/W:034 for firmware version??

This does not seem to work, I have checked overclockers.co.uk which have a saphire adaptor, which again look like a bizlink adaptor.

What do you guys use and where do you get it form in the UK?
Cheers

Perhaps I should widen my specifications...
What do folks in the US use, I read an hear something about some "Accell" device?
If thats confirmed to be wokring then maybe I will need to import one from the US or europe? :doh

Not from the US.. But i'm using a ACCELL adapter. But i think it's the same as your bizlink (and sapphire for that matter).

Got it from kabeltje.com

This is "yours" http://kabeltje.com/accell-displayport-naar-dvid-dual-link-actieve-adapter-25cm-p-1628.html
This is "mine" http://kabeltje.com/accell-mini-displayport-naar-dvi-duallink-adapter-lange-levertijd-p-2109.html

Mine stopped working from 10.3 up.. Blanking display. Now i use the Apple active adapter. Works fine (got it from forum-member Phoenixdancer... from the UK  )

Maybe DP-VGA is something for Ya?

FYI: i also got the F/W:034!

Ahh cheers for the feedback, I am currently using VGA atm on 1 of the screens, although some text at 1080p does look a little fuzzyer than the panels using dvi, and of cause blu-ray bitches about lack of HDCP on the monitor, so looking to get them all running digital.
Even if I replace the VGA cable, I would like to get a replacement adaptor anyways so I can run HDCP content to the projector in the living room.

Interesting that you say it stopped wokring after 10.3 drivers.
I see so many problems around this place with these adaptors, there HAS to be at least 1 device that works... surely? :S

Yep, one is working without a hitch: The Apple mini-DP to DVI.

Only when switching resolutions a lot (and enabling/disabling CrossfireX) it would scramble up sometimes. But nothing a little unplugging/plugging the USB power couldn't fix!

There even exists a DP to mini-DP adapter by the way

Cheers for the info johnnyvd, I have a MiniDP to DP adaptor cable already, so I can go either miniDP or DP active adaptor.

Now to hunt down a supplyer for the apple adaptor in the UK :)
