I just saw this earlier today and was intrigued as this is now the first card that can power 3 monitors with an Nvidia chip (besides the GTX295 with projectors). I was sure there would be a thread on this already, but I did not see one.

It's got 3 DVI connections as well as a mini-HDMI connection.

The temps on it must be nearly impossible to run.

I wouldn't expect so, the 460 was a much cooler and lower powered card then its 470 and 480 brothers, plus the fact that card already has a 3 fan cooling system on it. But at least that answers that question, the EVGA card BHawthorne showed us here might not be the same as the GTX 590 currently being worked on by NVidia, that card is going to have the same power and cooling issues as the new 6990 I suspect.

Yeah, slap a decent cooling system on the 460 and it's a very efficient chip. It just needs cool airflow.
