Hey guys, I'm completely new to widescreen gaming and I was hoping to get some advice on how to start a setup and maybe correct any misconceptions that I might have about widescreen gaming in general.

Current Hardware:

NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT

23.6" Asus VE247 (1920x1080 16:9)
19" Dell S199WFP (1440x900 16:10)
19" Dell SE198WFP (1440x900 16:10)

I would like to get a setup going using the three monitors that I currently have for the time being. I understand they all have to run at the same resolution so I'm guessing I'd be working with 4320x900 and the Asus will have some letterboxing if this setup is even possible.

Later, I'd like to upgrade to three matching displays (I'd like to buy two more VE247's to run at a resolution of 5760x1080).

My question is: what is the best route for me to take (Eyefinity, Nvidia surround, Digital TH2go, etc) in this situation?

There's a little bit of info here comparing Eyefinity vs. Nvidia Surround:

I went with Eyefinity because it seemed like the easiest way to get things going. Unless I'm mistaken you need at least two video cards from Nvidia to do three monitors where as Eyefinity can be done with one card, given one has to use Display Port or a Display Port adapter. Take what I'm saying with a grain of salt though... I'm a bit of a newbie to surround gaming.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up going with an eyefinity card and I'm satisfied so far but I'm still waiting for my active displayport adapter to come in the mail so I can use all three monitors. Bummer.
