Hey all, I want to upgrade my current GPU config which is 2 EVGA GTX570 HD 2.5gb editions in SLI that I run in Nvidia Surround Vision.

I'm looking at a single card solution, and have come to 3 possible solutions:

1) get an EVGA GTX780 ACX card and take advantage of the 3 game bundle that comes with it

2) Make the switch to AMD Eyefinity and get a non-reference R9 290x whenever they are released

3) Wait until new cards next year

My main concerns are the differences between Eyefinity and Nvidia Surround, I never used AMD's version of multi monitor and I want to have a single card that can power my 3 24inch monitors plus have my HDTV plugged in as well and get decent frames on games while having the card run as cool and quiet as possible

my cpu is an i7 930 @3.8ghz

any opinion or advice is appreciated!

Looks like we are in the same situation, except I dont mind going back to two cards.
I am now struggling with the decision between 2x GTX770 4GB or a single GTX780 Ti 3GB.

If you already have NV Surround, and like how it works, no point switching camps.

Get the card with the most vRAM you can, preferably a 770, or 780, or Ti. The Titan isn't that great anymore compared to the 780Ti.

yeah, thats the thing I have not been really satisfied with nvidia surround lately or nvidia in general. Latest drivers cause my centered taskbar to flip out often, whereby itll be spread all accross my 3 screens while in Nvidia Control Panel it would still say that its centered lol

Also now, for whatever reason, the game FEAR 2 will refuse to run on Surround, itll just crash but itll run on any other res that doesn't result in 3 screens being used and I usually place a frame rate limiter of 30 fps on games that i cannot run at a full 60fps, this has broken V-sync since i believe the 327 drivers.

So i think i may go with an R9 290 non reference card with 4gb
