I had the great fortune to sit down with the fine folks from True PC Gaming and talk about the origins and future of the WSGF. I also sound like an old man, and believe I actually said, "Get off my lawn". Also, after the second mention of using Macs at home, they threatened to throw me off the show and shut it down. If you can handle listening to me talk for the better part of an hour, then please give it a listen.

On a serious note, we do talk about creating a mature and welcoming community. We talk about how reputations are built, how they can precede you, and how they've helped us build the WSGF. Of particular note is how Paddy the Wak's (one of our first Moderators/Editors) reputation helped secure our relationships with both Matrox and scan.co.uk.

I really appreciate the kind words. I haven't listened to more than the intro. For some reason I'm scared to hear myself in this context, and I'm not sure I could listen to myself for an hour. I know it's necessary, and I'm sure it will be therapeutic in some sense, but it's still frightening.

Great podcast - Lots of useful information. I'm actually making the jump from Nvidia Surround (5760x1080) 23" x 3 to a Single display (2560x1440) 27" so it's interesting to hear your perspective on it.

I'm not sure how much I'm going to miss the triple screen immersion though. My 1440p monitor is going to be 120hz so it's a tradeoff between smoother framerate vs wider screen size

One day i really need to pick your brain Skip!

Nice Podcast.
finally found the time, while lying at the beach, to Listen the whole thing.

i wonder if a custom Made Monitor in 80"
in 7680x2160 120hz would cost more than 5k... i think it would.
