Cutscenes are all 16:9. Any available fixes for 3440x1440?

Would be nice if we could get the cutscenes fixed for 3440*1440.
At least the rest of the game works fine in 21:9.

The game does not work correctly for Nvidia surround as you cannot (confirmed) use the harpoon at all. Works fine once you go back to 1 screen. Anyone able to get a fix on this?

Does your game work fine in surround apart from the harpoon bug?
Mine seems to be stretched in fullscreen, when playing in windowed mode, it seems fine.

If someone links the exe to launch the game here, I could see if I, or someone else, could modify it to fix the cutscenes.

Hello PyroDonkey, I have uploaded the EXE file for Mad Max, you can run a virus scanner on it, if you want.

Hopefully this helps, the cause.

And what does it fixes? Because for the 2560x1080 I see no change in cutscenes.

If the cutscenes are done real time it should allow them to play in 21:9. MadMax may be doing pre-rendered, which would mean that what I tried doing wouldn't work.

I tried doing the fix that worked for both The Witcher 3, MGS 5, and more, but it may not work for MadMax. I don't really have much experience with modding exe files, but I thought I'd give it a shot to see if it would work.

Someone on the forums who has more experience than me may still have success with modifying the cutscenes in 21:9.

My only real issue with the game so far is when you switch to capture mode it also defaults to 16:9. Both fixes posted did not work for me as far as switching the cut scenes and map to the proper aspect of 21:9. Thanks for the work put into trying to fix this issue though.

I wasn't able to get the fixed .exe to work either at 3440x1440. Black bars really suck for the photo mode in particular.
