I was trying to use Flawless Widescreen on Windows 10 but the program would stop responding before displaying anything.
I just found a fix that works for me, hope it helps other.
If you try launching the program a second time, with the first instance still running you will get a pop up saying:

Already Running!
---------------------------
Flawless Widescreen is already running! - Would you like to kill the existing instance?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------
Pick yes and it will close the window that is not responding and open the program and it works.
