Does anyone play this one in widescreen? Over at SimHQ some folks claim they run it in widescreen resolutions but so far my requests for help over there have gone unanswered.

When I switch through the resolutions in game only the normal 4:3 options show up. My desktop is set to 1920x1200 and I have no problem with widescreen resolutions showing up in other games.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers, wonderful site here.

Enemy Engaged - Comanche vs. Hokum is a relatively old helicopter simulation which has been given new life by some truly talented folks. I believe there is a demo available.

Currently the best source of info on EECH (with the exception of widescreen resolutions  ) is at: http://www.eechcentral.com/index.php/Main_Page

It shipped with one of the best dynamic campaigns in any sim game (almost on par with Falcon 4). But now the original graphics would be old and ugly to us. A fellow who goes by the nick of "gotcha", along with some other folks, has reworked the textures and added support for TrackIR, multiple joysticks etc.

If you ever played the old version or are into helicopter sims you should check it out.

Hey ...
Thanks for the info and the link ... 8)
I'll download the demo and take a look ... flight sims are fantastic on the TripleHead2Go ... so it is a must to try ...
And if there are guys out there that think it is worthy of spending the time to upgrade the game with new textures etc ... it must be pretty dammed good ... :D

Hi there ...

I downloaded the demo but I can find no way to enable widescreen resolutions .... :(

I searched the registry ... no luck ... :(
There is a file ... game.cfg ... in the games main folder but when I open it I find it has some sort of encryption so I can't edit it ... :(

Sorry ... I'll keep looking but I don't think I'm going to find anything ... I think the info is in that cfg file.

That was fast!

Thanks for trying. I'll check around some more and post if I have any success.

I tried it when I first got a widescreen, as I did with Apache/Havok... no luck.
