Hello ....
I was wondering if the TH2G Digital would allow me to increase my graphics and scenery settings over those I am now using with the analog version.
... and ...
.... But would it significantly improve my graphic performance?
No ... the TH2G Digital is not going to
significantly improve your graphic performance or allow you to increase your graphics and scenery settings ... it should however give a slightly better image.
A better quality image in not the same as better performance.
It is my understanding that my text and blurry issues are not directly related to my video card or drivers. For example, if I reduce my graphics and scenery settings, I no longer have the problem. This suggests that I am stressing the card's capabilities, not that there is a problem with either the card or the drivers. Also, this problem has existed over multiple driver upgrades.
My goodness that is confusing ... lol ...
Your first sentence there ...
It is my understanding that my text and blurry issues are not directly related to my video card or drivers.
Everything you said
after this sentence in order to give an example
does suggest your text and blurry issues
are directly related to your video card.
It is not that your card is necessarily faulty ...
As you say yourself ... your issue suggests you are stressing the card's capabilities at 3840x1024 (with out turning stuff down) and so it suggests you need a video card that can handle 3840x1024 (with out turning stuff down).
Performance of your video card has nothing to do with your cables ...
The TH2G Digital along with the correct cables should however give you a better quality image but as I said earlier ...
A better quality image in not the same as better performance.
