Yep, looks promising.
Is the boxed version tied to Steam in any way (activation/DRM) :?:

I have my fingers crossed that it's something special... but will not be surprised if it flops bad. It needs good story/atmosphere and good net-code and good support from isp's for hosting.

Given the DLC coming, I feel it might be, but no announcement was made.

What *are* your specs?

I looked its these to run according to steam.

2.4ghz
1GB (2 vista) Ram
8GB HDD
256MB+ 8series or 2 series i guess.

AMD 3800+ (dual core, not the X2)
2G DDR1 (2x1G)
ATI 4850 (I think the 512MB)
25.5" 16:10 Samsung @1920x1200 60Hz

I should probably put that in my sig but I'm so embarrassed by the CPU/RAM.

With that said, I've played games at "spec" and I've played games on a good rig. There is a huge difference to me at least. I can play Wolfenstein pretty well, but when I use the veil I get some pretty noticeable lag.. Probably cpu related.
