Hello, I've been reading these forums for quite a while now making note of all the different FoV hacks, etc needed to get games running properly on an Eyefinity setup and I've been reading all of the threads which relate to my problem but I'd rather write a post here in order to get a direct response. Basically, I have my 3 monitors, all of which are 24" Samsung Syncmaster 2443BW running at 1920x1200, but I am yet to buy an adapter considering I can't quite decide which way to go with it. Obviously I want to get this sorted as quickly as possible since my monitors are just gathering dust at the moment.

I have a Sapphire 5970 so instead of a displayport adapter I need a mini-displayport but obviously the active DVI to Mini-DP adapters seem to be causing all types of problems, the most common being the screen blinking. The question I want to ask the readers of this forum are which adapter would you recommend? The main question I'm posing is whether it would be better to go with a Active DVI to Mini-DP adapter or possibly use a Passive/Active Mini-DP to VGA adapter since some users feedback say these are more reliable than their DVI counterparts.

I would really appreciate some help on this matter since I'm really stuck at what to do, in regards to money I would be quite happy to pay anything considering it gets the job done. I'm living in the UK so I'd prefer it if I could buy the item from the UK/Europe but if I have to I will quite happily buy from the USA. Thank you in advance for any feedback and I hope to get my setup running as soon as possible.

An announcement was just made over at Rage3D about some newly tested adapters that are "guaranteed" to work. You may want to check out the post there....

Thank you, any idea on when these adapters will be hitting the UK? I've also had a look around the internet to see where I could order one from America but they seem in short supply and only really found one on NCIX, who seem only to ship to Canada or south to the USA.

I would guess Overclockers would have them in stock quite soon, and of course Scan*

*there are other online retailers based in the UK

:)

I've been checking Overclockers recently and the only adapter they seem to be selling is http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-047-OK but it just seems too cheap to solve all these problems.

Will keep an eye out on Scan as well, thank you :D
