Civilization V is a turn-based 4X game developed by Fireaxis and released on Sept 21, 2010. Much like previous Civilization titles, the aim is to create a civilization to face all challenges.
The player may opt for a strategic military campaign or a peaceful one based on diplomacy. The game starts in prehistoric times and moves towards modern-day technologies as the game continues. The player must build cities as well as units with which to interact with the terrain and other civilizations.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a single-player action role-playing game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Ken Rolston acts as the game's executive designer, R. A. Salvatore created the game universe and lore, with Todd McFarlane working on the artwork, and Grant Kirkhope creating the musical score. It wais developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games. The game was released on February 7, 2012 in North America and on February 9, 2012 in Europe. The first public demonstration was at the Penny Arcade Expo East 2011 on March 11, 2011.

Mass Effect 3 is a Role-playing Game (RPG) / Third-Person Shooter hybrid set in a Science Fiction universe. Mass Effect 3 is the third game in the popular Mass Effect series, and is rumored to be the final installment. In it players continue the adventures of Commander Shepard utilizing extreme character customization which is the hallmark feature of the series. Additional features include: the ability to import decisions from both of the previous games into the new game, ownership/play of previous games not required, customizable weapons, improved mobility and melee combat, many returning characters (if they were not killed off in previous imported games), an improved cover system that allows for more action and more.

Alan Wake is a third-person shooter, described by its developers as a combination of "the mind of a psychological thriller", and "the body of a cinematic action game". The game is primarily set in the fictional idyllic small town of Bright Falls, Washington. The main gameplay happens in various areas of Bright Falls – such as the forest, a national park, or a farm – during the nighttime; these are punctuated by calmer, non-combative sequences set during the day. The player controls the epynomous protagonist, Alan Wake.

The city of San Paro is a crime-ravaged metropolis in the midst of political upheaval. The introduction of the City Security Act has caused the creation of the Enforcers, licensed vigilantes who take to the streets in an effort to stop the Criminals where the Cops couldn't. The Enforcer faction believes that it is a force for good; the Criminal faction believes that its city and freedom are under threat.

Super Meat Boy is a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat who's trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux.

In this Source-based multiplayer FPS each team may consist of four classes of combatants on the field plus one commander playing from a bird's eye view. The commander can build structures and research upgrades that will let him perform actions on the map such as deploy weapon stashes, launch artillery strikes or cast zone healing.

Oil rush is a fast-paced RTS set in a flooded world where oil is the only resource and micro-management is kept to a minimum. Units are produced automatically up to their population limit and the player commands them as groups, sending swarms from platform to platform rather than to attack other units directly. Defenses can also be built in the form of towers on slots around certain platforms, but the priceless oil rigs must be defended by units only. Experience points can be spent as tech upgrades ranging from faster construction to nuclear warhead launches.
This game is a continuation of the F1 series of driving simulators by Codemasters. Like we've come to expect from Codemasters, it has perfect support for Eyefinity. Not lacking in detail, this fine example should keep any F1 simulator fan satiated... until next year.
