Oh that's just silly.

How about we start removing all characters resembling someone in real life from every game? That'll be a lot of fun.

Hmm... should I tell Steam to stop updating PvZ or not? Oh the dilemma.

Lucky for me I've already made a Steam-independent backup of PvZ. It's surprisingly easy too - make sure Windows is set to display hidden files, run the game, alt-tab out of it, and then copy and paste the entire game directory somewhere. The copied directory will have a hidden exe file in it - this is the decrypted executable, and if you unhide it, you can use it to play PvZ without Steam.

There is a box version in stores. Don't know if it is Steam or not.

Mickael Jackson. Real life. I lol'ed.

Anyway, this still makes way more sense than the moron who claims the word "edge" is copyrighted material and sues whoever uses it in the videogame industry, right ?

Well that's a neat trick. Not how I backed up my copy of PvZ, but I'll remember to try that for other Steam games. Thanks!

It doesn't work on other Steam games. Maybe other Popcap games on Steam, but not on Steam games in general.

Well it ignored my setting for not updating, because they gave it a new name: PvZ, GOTY edition.

Includes some new features though. More zombie goodness :D

I've been replaying it, and I'm not quite sure what these "features" are. So far, there's more achievements, this stupid "zombatar" feature, and that's about it.

Would it be too much to ask for all the features that the XBox 360 version is getting? *That* might be worth giving up a more hilarious than intended Michael Jackson reference.

Oh and by the way:

Roar.
