Dear Customer,
thank you for your inquiry.
We are sorry but the game was not made for two or more screens.

Well then my money wasn't made for one or more companies named deep silver.

I guess we will all have to wait until all games come on some sort of multi-iPad wireless triplehead before companies actually care about getting them to work properly. That seems to be the trending today. Ipad gaming makes more money then most..

They don't deserve anyone's money for this release, lol.

I honestly can't remember any games that felt this unfinished on release.

I mean there are still freaking place-holder animations in the game they never finished.

And this was in development for 5 years?

Here's a FOV fix from the steam forums.

We don't know how they implement VAC yet so watch out.

Hey Guys,

I did receive an update from Deep Silver. I've posted the response and the original message below. Here's to hoping to a developers fix :)

Re: [Ticket#2011090731000884] Dead Island (PC)

Dear Customer,

thank you for your inquiry.

We are sorry but the game was not made for two or more screens.

Nevertheless we forwarded you meesage to our developers team for further
investigation.

Pretty much the standard "oh yeah sure we'll pass it on" message for technical support.
Don't bet on it even getting to the programers/developers.

Most will just go straight to the trash bin.

Trust me, I know how tech support works,

lol I have not put much time into it yet but it seems like a fun game so far. Really waiting to get all my team online and play together for now I just have been helping the community with tweaks and stuff to make the game better.

The FOV method I posted a tutorial on is not VAC bannable nor are any other tweaks done in the same fashion.

Funny they didn't even use what is quite possibly the worst one of all, the throwing animation. They also should have showed them in multiplayer, they look the same.

Indeed, Back when I posted we were still messing with repacking the .pak files and editing the CRC check in the exe/dll's.

Pretty fun time so far! I was bored of Deus Ex HR after a couple of hours, but so far, still bashing zombies and looting luggage. Runs just fine at 5040x1050 + bezel.

Hmm I was working on a fix but was just messing with the HUD size properties, this download has a ton more files that I was using.

Tested: not 100% but it works 5940x1200

Definitely playable.
