The patch seems to have broken my GPU transcode. It doesn't work anymore unless I disable two of my video cards in the device manager. Even forcing it in the autoexec isn't working.

Only way to use GPU transcode now seems to be if you have a single GPU system. Seems like a bug because in the patch notes is said GPU transcoding performance has been improved for Multi GPU systems, so unless they mean to improve it by removing it totally...

Bleh seems the dev console and a bunch of cvars are now locked too. wtf ID!?

Fix that includes hands_fovscale.

mov [handsfovscale], (float)0.95 // Change this value to alter Hands FOVScale

rage-gui_update_48_9.zip for 5760x1080
rage-gui_update_48_10.zip for 5040x1050

Or download either one and edit yourself. (eg. Bezel compensated)

hey champ... great work... but what do i edit for 5760x1200?
with these the hud is a bit to far towards centre of screen for me...

Thanks again Hayden, this might be a dumb question, but I have to repeat the process everytime I run the game...is that right? or have I missed something? Cheers.

Tet5uo, im using Nvidia Inspector to force "GPU Count One" in the Rage profile, since the release of the game (and after the patch too), i get solid 60FPS at 5040x1050, transcode woks great.

They are not "mopre stretched" here, can you please add two screenshots (one running the hack and the other w/o) ?

HUD' setting isnt "mov [handsfovscale], (float)0.95" but "mov [adjust], (float)3.376", 5040x1050 uses 3.25, you can try 3.30 for 5760x1200 or even 3.35.

Thats the way the hack works, its memory injection.

You sure? My option for transcode totally dissappears from the settings menu unless I actually disable the other two cards. Running in single GPU alone didn't let me use transcode (though it used to)

Also the vsync they've added doesn't work.

Seems something got messed up. Not that it's too worrying, game runs smoothly enough, I guess. Just funny the patch actually broke things more.

Yes im sure, you may try it, itll work, bout Vsync, its not id's fault, its Nvidia's, just change your Rage profile for Vsync from "Force off" to "3D Application Controlled" in the NCP, since the Rage patch added in-game Vsync option. ;)

I have GPU one forced on by default according to Inspector. Doesn't change the fact that my transcoding option has disappeared. This is on three 580s running three screens. That said, the pop-in is pretty minor. It would be almost zero if I didn't have the flanking screens because that's where I see it on occasion.
