It's not working because the game was patched.

Whenever there is a new version of a game, the tool will stop working until the offsets are updated.

I think the galaxy map disappearing may have to do with how you play the game?

I play the game in a fullscreen window. Perhaps when you play in regular fullscreen things go wrong?

Anyway, helifax, do you want to take over on the v1.0.2a update? Unfortunately I started a pretty major overhaul to the plugin system earlier and I can't update the plugin for SWTOR at the moment.

1.Yes maybe things in Fullscreen do change..and that is why the galaxy map has no bubble thing!
2. I will adapt it for 1.2.0a but this evening (still morning here at the time of writing). So it will take a while.

Curios how they rolled 2 patches in the same day:)) Last night everything was working:)) but I was on 1.2.0 :))

Edit: I see they already pushed a 1.2.0.b today...

I ended up just branching my current codebase off and working on the current test version instead.

I updated it to support v1.0.2b and I think I eliminated any start up exception and any exception thrown when you exit a game.

Let me know if this version works well.

I am getting the issue with the galaxy map now.

[edit]Nevermind, this offset actually controls the entire width of the HUD. I'm going to work further on finding the galaxy bubbles.

The reason why it breaks is that it uses the width of the screen to determine how the bubbles appear.

It needs the full width of the display.

I need to think of a way to change this without creating a code-cave.

Yes! If you actually look, you will see that the bubble if moved to the right with the same offset used to center the hud, but outside the "renderable" area which is the resolution of a single monitor and is positioned on the center monitor:)
I tried a few things myself the other day but none yielded any results...

If you do not try to center the HUD, and instead just change the width, you will get the bubble to swap sides from the right to the left, and eventually the right side of the bubble will start getting cut off. However, the bubble does not re-position itself when you shrink the width of the HUD.

I wonder if there is a different offset for the width of the bubble.

Just signed up to say thank you for this fix!
Its totally awesome, I hope you keep it up-todate as you've said it requires fixing if they patch the game (They have said they are going to patch the game once a week, not including hotfix's).

Once again thank you, this is great atleast until they make the UI a bit better and allow moving frames, etc (Used to EVE, where I could move everything easy)

Is it correct that my left and right side monitor produce the "fishlens/stretching" effect? Is this normal.
It's hard to tell from the screenshot in the detailed report

Cheers
Ballza

Hello! and welcome!

I am glad that you like the tool. Yes that is normal for the left & right monitor to create the fish eye effect. That is how eyefinity/surround works;))

I just uploaded a new test version.

All it really does is finally get rid of the ReadProcessMemory exception by catching its own exception.

https://www.widescreenfixer.org/test.php

You can read the details of this one under SVN log revision 208.
