It's quite an old space combat sim. The graphics, considering its age, are still spectacular. No space sim before or after has been able to touch it when it comes to nebula or weapon effects.

It works best in Glide. That tells you something about how old it is! :D

paddy the wak, you are awesome lol, all those games, I think the link to your pics are taken down by now, but sounds like a sweet setup. I see that you play quiet a few of the same games as me, and are an avid gamer, nice to meet and greet ya buddy :)

Although I still have my Parhelia system there are not many new games that work in surround ... Matrox won't or can't add FULL DX9 drivers for the Parhelia. Sadly ... the card just doesn't cut it for games anymore ... I still use the machine for pretty much everything else apart from gaming.. Here is an old picture ... the code on that desktop is animated ... :) 8)

The system I use the most these days is the one mentioned below ... the SLI rig ... its awesome ... I'm now just waiting on those .... 500MB 7800's ... to come out ... :mrgreen:
Oh ... and for game developers to fully support widescreen.
