i have the doom 3 1.1 patch that's supposed to support widescreen displays....but I don't see that option anywhere?

where is it? I want 1920x1200 but my options only go to 1600x1200!

Yea...I saw that. But that was made before the official 1.1 patch. I had thought that the patch would make it easy to switch to 16:10, like in css/hl2...guess I was wrong. Thanks though! I've got it up and running now!

In the readme for the Doom3 1.1 Patch ...

RENDERING
- r_aspectRatio now uses 0, 1, or 2 (4:3, 16:9, 16:10)

So in the DoomConfig.cfg edit the line seta r_aspectRatio "0" line for your screen ratio.

:D

....uhhh...

No ... I meant leave it on 0 .... :? ...

Of course ... change it to 2 .... 1920x1200 is 16:10

Here is the important bit you didn't read ....
So in the DoomConfig.cfg edit the line seta r_aspectRatio "0" for your screen ratio.

Come on ! ... you only have 2 options to try other than the 0 it is set at as default.

Sounds a lot like the pot calling the kettle black ...

.... if any response here was "crafted" that was ... ... and if your question ...
....uhhh...I'm assuming you mean set it to 2?
... wasn't down-right stupid then it was sarcastically suggesting that I somehow had not given you all the information ... hence I responded in kind.

A bit of banter is fine - no one can say I'm not sarcastic at times - but I don't want to see this thread degenerate into a flamewar. :)

Keep it civil. :D
