Per this PC gamer article, Titanfall appears to have some support for multiple monitors. Better than I expected, anyway! The interior of the Titans is rendered. Only one screenshot shows any HUD, and it does unfortunately appear to be on the far left and right screens.

Post your own impressions if you've gotten beta access this weekend!

I'm stuck in the crowd who received Xbox One beta keys in place of PC keys and am hoping for EA to swap it out for me. In the meantime, I've heard reports that most of the HUD, including the minimap, is completely missing in Eyefinity. The PC Gamer screenshots are mostly HUD-less. I'd assumed they turned it off to take pretty pictures. But jeez...couldn't they have mentioned it was busted if there's no HUD?

I got a PC key, I'll post some screens when it downloads.

EDIT: I can confirm that most the hud is off the screen in eyefinity.

The game is slightly Vert- and I've been running around the whole time without a hud/minimap (still doing alright though).

The game actually seems like it's stuck at FOV 70, even when you put the slider all the way up to 90. There are no editable configs, so I couldn't try and force it - everyone should head to the beta forums and show their support for it. The game is a modified version of the source engine, not particularly pretty, but it's OK.

There is an option in the menu (also on consoles) to have a large or small hud, but that doesn't seem to affect triple monitor users either - well it might, but I cant see the HUD to verify.

Just got my corrected PC beta key and downloaded. Only tried the first couple tutorials so far. It's definitely got issues with Crossfire too. Lots of artifacting and flickering going on. Not looking too good for us, yet, but I guess Respawn has got some time left to fix things before release. Given that it's Source engine and that they've already taken the most important step of rendering the entire cockpit of the titans, I think there's a decent chance things will improve for multi-monitor users. Here's hoping!

Their forums are down at the moment, but we should chime in at http://www.respawn.com/forum/ once they're back up.

There are some editable configs with some possibly promising parameters in two sub folders at \Documents\Respawn\TitanfallBeta but I haven't had the chance to fiddle yet.

*Edit: Yeah, I don't know if these config files will do anything. Can't get in game at the moment to check. Servers down.

The only thing I could test is to get the game in borderless windowed mode. I prefer this for source games, I only need 1 7970 to run this game at max settings at 7680x1600 :P Well it's at 2xMSAA, but I'm going to try 4x, although not sure if this game needs it at 1600p.

Good find - I didn't see them, I really need to clean up at directory though. Being source engine, I wonder if there's ways to force settings either through those configs, or via a autoexec file. My brain is working on little sleep, and the servers are down like you said :/

I can confirm that the HUD is dead in surround/Eyeinfinity. Please let us know about the boarderless window test. I'm assuming you can set the game to boarderless via a hack. I'm pretty sure that the HUD in widescreen mode isn't their top priority during this beta but it'll be great to have. I feel the game in standard resolution is awesome. I can't wait till this game launches!
