Just picked up Oblivion yesterday...amazing graphics!

Anyway, is it worthwhile to play it unmoded or should I just go right for OOO 1.3 and BTMod?

Thoughts?

What are this for mods?

I played it unmodded and enjoyed it. :)

I'd go for BTMOD (can't go wrong with that) and then get some of the visual upgrades for the textures in the distance (it's been a few months since I've played, so I can't remember the names). I suggest playing the game for a while and then try out OOO on a new character and decide if you like the changes.

I find all the mods I've installed helped the game
Ren's Beauty pack, auto leveling, texture packs, etc. I love the game.

Overall the game is now...boring since I've spent alot of time in it.

I was told you should install the distant texture and nude females mods... errr...... or not. :P :lol:

Play it a little bit first. If you dont like something in the game, it's most likely moddable :P

Id play the game with no mods but eye-candy adding mods like the ones suggested above minus the nude mod compliments of neo :roll:

Then i would go full blown with all teh fun and goofy mods that make the came pointlessly fun

Modded, its unplayable unmodded.

I never really got OOO to work. If I did...I didn't notice a difference.
