Ha anyone gotten this to work? I can't get it to get past the Video Card failed to initialize error.

I had a simialr problem with AOM, but a fix I found here allowed me to get it to work. I modified both of these INI files, but it still fails when the game starts.

I am using an AIW 9800 Pro and have my resolution set at 1280x720

The only thing I can suggest would be to install the game, run it to generate the .ini files, change what needs to be changed, back them up to somewhere else (eg, just copy them to a floppy or My Documents) install the patch, and copy the .ini's back where they were. Might work, but I don't know...

Ok this was easier than I thought. When I installed the game, it put the *.ini files in the game directory instead of the Documents and Settings folder. I edited rise2.ini, and changed my resolution in-game. Then I patched it to 1.3, and it kept my resolution settings.
