Hi folks, need help.
Metro 2033 Redux should support native 3440x1440. However, my case is, in fullscreen mode, even resolution setting says "3440x1440", the image just looks no different than a stretched "2560x1440" screen, unless I run it in windowed mode which is super annoying. Changing resolution seems not working. Even I choose "2560x1440", screen is stretched. I'm supposed to see black bar on side, right? No matter how I changed the aspect ratio options in Nvidia control panel, it just couldn't fix the issue. I tried all different combinations.
Call of Duty Ghost is same, even I use Flawless Widescreen. Native 21:9 (not stretched from other resolutions) can only be maintained in window mode.
I was wondering if there is something wrong with my system, since there are a few games sharing this common issue. Any clue, folks? Many thanks
My rig: GTX 1080, Native 3440x1440 G-Sync Monitor, Windows 7 SP1, DirectX 11
