Matrox was kind enough to send Paddy a sample of their new TripleHead2Go, for review. You can check out the review by either clicking the link in the left nav, or using this one - link.

If you've got any questions or comments about the TH2Go or Surround Gaming in general, please post them here. I'm sure Paddy will be happy to answer. And, here is a thread with new screenshots that Paddy is compiling.

So Paddy, I'm curious... what's your outdoors frame-rate in Oblivion at 300,000 x 1,308,917 or whatever it is. :P

This is the only game that my comp struggled with ...

3072x768 ... just playable with everything at max 2xAA ... in the woods with me my horse and my dog in the scene ... 28+ fps
3840x1024 ... a little too slower at the same settings but with AA off it runs at about 30+fps

I am running it as above 3072x768 but with AA off in the game but 2xQAA in the Nvidia settings ... about 32 fps .. a bit better than the in game AA ... :D

In doors of course there are no problems with fps.

I can't wait for a good patch to fix some of these slow fps ...

Oh ... Tomb Raider at 3840x1024 (stretched as the fix doesn't work with Next Gen turned on) it runs like a slug ...
With it turned off and using the FOV fix it runs beautifully ... at 3840x1024

So how much do these things cost?

You mention in your review that it doesn't work with WS monitors??

I currently have an acer 19"ws, and would love to add another 2 of the same monitor to my set up.

Native resolution is 1440x900, so I could run all 3 at that res with no problems and still be under the triplehead max res.

If these are a reasonable price and work with ws monitors... would anyone be interested in arranging a group buy?

The thing is although the max res is 3840x1024 it works with several set resolutions only ...

1920x480 ... 3x640x480
2400x600 ... 3x800x600
3072x768 ... 3x1024x768
3840x1024 ... 3x1280x1024

Matrox are looking to get it working with lower widescreen resolutions or with one widescreen in the middle and two 4:3 monitors on the sides ... but that is all they would say on it ...

You can hook up 3 widescreen monitors but each monitor would be running one of the 4x3 resolutions depending on which of the above resolutions you choose ... and so each monitor would look stretched ... :(

This reviewer here ... http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/337/6/ ... is using it with one 4:3 and two widescreens
 ... ... Although his review is very good he didn't even have the common sense to line up the monitors or may be he couldn't be bothered ... very strange ... :?

As for the price ... it will be around $299 and available some time this month.
