Ah well i could have been worse, i could have written it all h4x0r :). It least my bad spelling makes a little sense ;)

LOL.... there's nothing worse that a spelling mistake while you're typing in 1337speak. Firstly you look like an absolute n00b, and secondly if your spelling is really bad you may as well have encrypted your sentence with a 1024-bit key... coz nobody is going to be able to translate it. :P

Theres no way its impossible. I just pulled off the craziest wide screen action on Oblvion today. I had it stretched across two monitors (2560 by 1024). Amazingly enough Oblivion actually supports this! (So does World of Warcraft).

To get this functional I realy need to get monitors with a slimmer edge, or try to get a third monitor in the mix so the screen isn't split right in the middle.

Strangly enough oblivion still ran at 25-35 FPS... The screen shots don't show this as when I took them the computer chunked up and lost at least 10FPS by the time the screen shot was done. (They were 8 megabyte BMPs).

So here's the screens if anyones currious:

FYI these are in JPG format, medium quality. And, yeah you'll need to scroll to see all of the screenshot

My computer specs are:
Asus A8N-SLI
Corsair 512 MB x 2 Dual Syncronized Ram
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
Asus Nvidia 7600 GT 256 DDR3

As you can see my specs are relatively low and it was very playable even with the entire town guard chasing me.

Not so sure about the dual-widescreen playability (although well done for doing it anyway!), however my system plays Oblivion nicely at 1680 x 1050 I'd even argue that 20fps is fine for Oblivion, but the more the merrier. I have view distance, far off lands & trees etc set to 100% and HDR on, but lots of other effects down to half-way or less, and i think the game looks stunning.

I agree, an X1900XT will handle 1680 no problem. In fact, I plan on running that resolution on my X1800XT as soon as I get my WS monitor.... right now I'm playing it at 1280*1024, generally high to very-high settings, HDR, etc. very smooth, even outdoors.

When AT said "there isn't a single GPU or pair of GPUs today that will run Oblivion at 1600 x 1200 with everything turned on smoothly," first, that's 1,920,000 pixels as opposed to the 1,764,000 of 1680*1050. Secondly, I think by "everything turned on" they mean 6X Adaptive AA, 16X HQ AF, ALL ingame settings to max (which no-one should enable no matter their configuration), etc. Secondly by "smooth" they may mean >60 fps all the time which you don't need in this game. I think they're even referring specifically to that one Oblivion gate in the forest that just brings everything to its knees. :)

This game looks great and I can't wait to see it in widescreen!!! :D

The ATI cards handle this game much better from what I hear. I have an EVGA 7900GTX and I get like 15-30fps with the slider settings only halfway on most of them and at 1680x1050 I only get 15-30fps.
