Thats a nice monitor. Just be aware that the'll have to upsample the 3x1280x1024 to 3x1600x1200. They'll be good for future proofing, if Matrox ever releases a TH2G in that res, but the results might not look pretty. Another thing to note is that it'll be going from 5:4 to 4:3, so the image will also get stretched horz slightly.

If at all possible see what 1280x1024 looks like on that monitor.

And finally, one more thing - that mon is focused on color rendering over response time, so your bwb is going to be in the 12-16ms range. But many people play here with that and have no complaints.

thanks for reply Tucson....not sure now ....do u think i should stick with 19 " lcd ?...if u had 300.00 to spend on each monitor what would u buy?... i just want to play nascar racing 2003 at 3840x1024 with decent response times..... have mix and match crt s and it s driving me nuts... bezels are huge...thats also something to consider....bezel size...204b is small...some 19 " lcd s aren t.... unless u go widescreen but then im stuck with lower resolution....

The BenQ FP93GX had the smallest bezels on the market when I bought them (13mm). But it's tough to find the bezel size of a monitor.

If your just looking for a full Nascar experience at native res, then 19" LCDs are probably what you want.

Honestly, if I had to do it all over again I'd go with the FP93GX's in a heartbeat. Esp. for triplehead bc of the bezels. I don't have a single complaint. After rebate, you get get them for $210 right now. With the extra cash, you could get the Ergotron LCD mount. Here's a cheap distributer's.

So that's my recomendation, but I'm a little biased :) The best thing to do is just do a bit of research, sort out your priorities, then go with what you feel the most comfortable with.
