http://www.geeks3d.com/forums/index.php/topic,161.msg167.html#msg167 i know its beta but im impatient, i remember Mark B's post about catalyst 9.7 releasing sometime this month along with a firmware update supporting 59hz for 5040x1050 along with certain lcd panels not compatible with 57hz timing (like mine - acer x193w+), that link above shows download link for catalyst 9.7 for xp32/64, gonna test it right now with my dual boot xp64, hopefully it works!!!

lol epic fail. i guess we're gonna have to wait for the official 9.7 catalyst + firmware update supporting 5040x1050 @ 59hz - tho this 9.7 catalyst beta seems to be working, im on xp64/win7 build 7100 dual boot right now but was hoping this would work!!! also it could be my monitors bottlenecking the 5040x1050 output for my sapphire 4870x2... schucks!!!! just gonna have to wait, sorry to get u guys excited lol
