Triplehead with 4:3 and 5:4 resolutions
3840x1024 @ 60 Hz (triple 1280x1024)
3072x768 @ 85 Hz (triple 1024x768)*
3072x768 @ 75 Hz (triple 1024x768)
2400x800 @ 60 Hz (triple 800x600)
1920x480@ 60 Hz (triple 640x480)

Triplehead with 16:9 and 15:9 resolutions
3840x768 @ 60 Hz (triple 1280x768)*
3840x720 @ 60 Hz (triple 1280x720)*

Dualhead with 5:4 resolution
2560x1024 @ 60 Hz (dual 1280x1024)*

Dualhead with 16:10 resolution
3360x1050 @ 60 Hz (dual 1680x1050)*

* requires the TMET (Triplehead Mode Expander Tool).

If you wonder, who is intersted in different refresh rates of flat panels, e.g. people who want to use shutter glasses for 3D stereo.

If you want to use the EyeDimensional glasses, which are certified for TFT with a minimum refresh rate of 70Hz and only availible with analog connectors, your only chance can be with the anlaog edition and use 3072x768 @ 75 Hz.

I know for sure E-D is working on a digital device, but seems to have issues with it. Is Matrox trying to raise the rates for the digital edition, esp. for the mostly used resolution 3840x1024 - I have no idea?

3840x1024 @ 60 Hz represents the bandwidth limit for the Analogue device, so no higher refresh rates are possible as I understand it.

For the Digital device, we have been told that 5040x1050 is theoretically possible. Assuming that resolution was displayed at 60 Hz, 3840x1024 should be possible up to 75 Hz. However, 3840x1024 at any refresh rate over 60 Hz does exceed the oft-quoted dual-link DVI bandwidth limit equivalent to 2560x1600 @ 60 Hz.

I've just set my DTG2G at 5040X1040 @ 60 Hz refresh rate and it all seems to be working fine. Not run any games yet.

Why is this working.... I set through my Nividia Graphics coontrol panel.

I just setup my DTH2G tonight, tried after reading this topic....:)

Hmmm, interesting. I'd love to hear how this pans out. It probably deserves its own thread, though. Please keep us posted.
