Ok, I've been trolling the posts for the past few days, well since I found this place :)
So I'm going to ask a question that's been asked before but I think I've hit info
overload. I would like to create a TH2Go setup as I build my new system from the ground
up (ok I'll keep my G15).

So my big burning question is what 3 monitors to go with I do have some funding restraints.
I was going to go with around 19-21 to keep it at 1680x1050 res. due
to the limitation of the TH2Go box but...

Is there an advantage/disadvantage if I went with 22-24 1920x1200 res?
Is there a noticeable distortion when running them in non native size with the TH2Go?

I am planning on starting with a 280 or 285 card and then acquiring another
later (currently using 8800GTS x2 SLI) or do I need something with
more horses?

Thanks for entertaining my questions :)

If you are in a budget constraint, then why do you need to play games in triplehead? Lol. Anyways, the disadvantage of using 1680 x 1050 resolution on a 24" monitor and up is that you will lose the sharpness of the images especially the words/letters/texts on the screen. In gaming (especially racing), you won't really mind this but in regular desktop use, you might find it annoying. It works but it's not that nice to look at.

I suggest to not get 24" monitors and besides you're in a budget.

Thanks for the info, I should have clarified it better, budget restraint meaning I didn't want to spend 800 per monitor ;)

What are those super fast, bright and thin Dell 22/23" monitors called again? They seemed to be the best in class and they arent massively more expensive either. Afaik, someone here has them working in TH too.
