Hi,

I am currently running Vista 64, a THTGO digital unit & 3 monitors with an nVida 260 and ver 182 drivers, I had zero setup problems and run rfactor and GTR2 with no problems at all.

Want to upgrade to an nVidia 275 or 285 which will likely require newer drivers (ver 186 ?) - is there anyone out there with a 275/285 nVidia, "newer" drivers and a THTGO 3 monitor setup ?

I'd appreciate any input, info or advice.

THANKS :o

If you are running XP just install the drivers, if Vista or Win7.. good luck. There are several people who ave managed it, look at the stickies and search the threads.

EDIT: this is the general discussion one, have a look through the tech support area.

I run a 285 on 185.85 with windows 7 rc1 x64 with no problems. Both my analog and digital th2g units worked flawlessly at 3840x1024. The digital version however refuses to run games at 3072x768 and pretty much completely requires a restart of the pc to recover if a game is run at that resolution. Thankfully the 285 is so fast that all my games run with everything maxed at 3840 so the 3072 issue isn't such a problem. I would like to be able to run crysis at 3072 because it's pretty choppy at 3840. Wish I could figure out why 3072 is a no go for me though...

All nvidia cards use the same geforce driver package anyway so switching from a 260 to a 275 or a 285 will not require a driver change as long as you are using a recent driver version that isn't any older than the card you are wanting to switch to.
