Guys if any of you have the ATI 2GB Radeon 5970 what is the Frames Per Second you are getting/expected on triple monitor on the following games, taking into consideration of :

monitors(5760 x 1080)

High/highest gfx settings etc

1.Bad company 2
2.Need for speed shift
3.dirt 2
4.Counterstrike Source
5.Team fortress 2
6.Crysis

Someone stated that i should get low fps on these games because of the triple monitor but i was under the impression that the 5970 would run these with no problem at all and with high FPS

thanks

I play most of the time L4D2 at 5760x1200 and have between 60 to 120fps depending the scene; you'll be fine overall with your games :D

I play at 5040x1050!

BF2 is 65-70 with 2xaa and Hbao off.
Dirt 2 60-70 maxed
css 250
crysis is the tough one it runs at 30-35 with shaders at gamer. Crysis and metro 2033 are the 2 games that runs better on single screen. I do use metro on triple myself but I use dx10 and normal. But it looks unbelievable at very high dx 11 but that is on a 1680x1050.
Any source game is going to above 100 so no worries there.

Mafia 2 btw runs good also but i have a gts 250 for physx.

U could consider waiting for the new cards in november! they will be 3d ready with 1.4a hdmi and might not need display port stuff though that is not confirmed.

For crysis & metro u could add a 5850, it appears to be working VERY good, 5970 + 5850. (these are 1080p resolutions though, but u can still see the enormous difference in single screen, so it'll definately also be a big difference for 3 monitors ;), in the future i'll be upgrading this also, hoping to buy a 5850 for cheap when people switching to the 6000 series)
